At City West Child Care Centre, we believe in establishing and maintaining a secure, active, ongoing learning environment, that values and encourages children’s education through play and diversity; providing optimum support to assist parents/guardians to balance their work, study and family commitments.

We aim to provide a secure, responsive, equitable, high quality early childhood program for all families that reflects the diversity of cultural needs and provides advocacy and action for children and parents/guardians.

We see parents/guardians and families as the primary educators and caregivers of the children and work in partnership with them to provide high quality care for their children.

We know the quality of child care is critically important in the early childhood years and work to ensure that our childcare services support each child’s right to develop to his/her full potential and respond to the social, economic and cultural needs of the individual children and their families.

Self funded and jointly managed by a partnership between the University of South Australia and the Department for Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology, City West Child Care Centre fosters collaborative relationships with community and education agencies to ensure staff, children and families receive early childhood services and programs that are at the forefront of early childhood education.
